Create these cool pineapple, buttercream cupcakes in just 5 simple steps. Perfect for any summer party or to share with your friends and family!
What you will need:
- Green flower paste
- Pallet Knife
- Rolling Pin
- Small open star nozzle
- Piping bag
- Yellow Buttercream
1.Firstly roll out the green flower paste and using the pallet knife, cut out the pineapple leaves. You will need 2 of these, one slightly shorter than the other.
2. Lift the edges of the pineapple leaves up with your finger tips and place the smaller one on top (you may need to stick with edible glue if it doesn’t stick to itself). Leave to one side to dry for a few hours.
3. To flat top your cupcake, put some yellow buttercream on top and smooth this over the cupcake using a pallet knife. This will give you an even surface to pipe on. Next using the small open star nozzle and piping bag, cover the cupcake (starting at the top and working your way to the bottom).
4. To finish your cupcake simply place the pineapple leaves at the top of the cupcake.
