With Halloween around the corner what better way to celebrate than by baking some cupcakes or cakes and adorning with pumpkins. Here’s a quick tutorial on how to make sugarpaste fondant pumpkins.
What you will need:
- Orange, Brown and Green Sugarpaste
- Edible Glue
- Tooth Pick
- Paint brush
1. Roll the orange sugarpaste into a ball and mark 8 lines from top to bottom using the cocktail stick. Using the brown sugarpaste make a little cone shaped stalk
2. Using the green sugarpaste roll out a thin sausage shape and wrap it around a cocktail stick to make the leaf / stalk. Leave to dry slightly
3. Using the edible glue brush on some glue on the top of your pumpkin and attache the stalk and the leaf / stalk.
You can make your pumpkins different sizes and these can be used for any autumnal themed cakes and cupcakes. Enjoy!
