Module 2: Online presence and branding – what you need to have to have an online presence, the type of brand that you’re looking to have (this is more than just a pretty logo!) and how to reach those customers that actually going pay you for your service

Module 3: Social Media & Marketing – how to use social media (it’s more than just having thousands of followers but how you reach those that you do have!), how to market your business and ways to connect with others to create working partnerships

Module 4: Pricing – the most common and difficult thing that people struggle with.  I’ll show you how to price your cakes and bakes as well as how to keep on top of your finances and expenses.  You’ll be given a formula to work with so that you can price your cakes, your time as well as other expenses that you may not even have thought of to ensure you’re running a profitable business

Hi, I’m Nathalie and I started Rock Bakehouse after I was made redundant from my PR & Marketing job in 2011.  With no redundancy package and having always dreamt of starting my own cake business I decided to just go for it.  It’s been hard work and I’ve learnt a lot of lessons along the way (which I share with you so that you don’t make the same mistakes) but I’m running a business that allows me to have the flexibility to spend time with my children as well as the financial means to lead a comfortable life.  I want to inspire you and show you that you can run a cake business and make money, and actually make the most of self employed life.
