We’ve all done it, started getting everything ready for baking and realised we’ve run out of self raising flour.  Instead of going to the shops you can make your own with just plain flour and baking powder.

How to Make Self Raising Flour

All you need is to add one teaspoon (5g) of baking powder to every 125g of plain flour.  Sift and mix well and then it’s ready to use.
